| This stands 16 1/4" high with a base width of 11 3/4", the metal plates with three openings are 7 3/4" x 9 3/8". The base has built on swing out support legs. The white knob on the bottom right hand side of the metal plate with openings twist counter clock wise one quarter turn allowing the metal plates to open to the left as in picture and they are brass piano hinged to the left side of the now visible frame. Within this frame is a clear piece of plex that is lifted away and tapped on to prove its solid nature. The panels are closed and white knob turned to hold panels in place at which time the clear panel drops away landing on a cushion bumper at the top of the base of this unit allowing for penetration of silks, or what have you through the three openings. When found this had adhesive strips on the front and rear of the two vertical supports which at one time likely had some material attached as a temporary portion of the routine. Now that you have this information its all up to you. Condition very fine and well made. | |
