| This is entirely made of metal including the cards. It stands in a metal easel 9" high with a width of a little over 5 1/2" at the bottom legs. A metal card depicting an Asian with open mouth is shown that measures 7 1/4" x 4 5/8" and laid aside. At this point a solid object (not supplied) with a diameter of 3/4" is inserted into the opening at center of frame. The card is taken and inserted into the frame slowly pushed down until it is completely in. At this point the frame is taken away from the easel with the solid object still in place and the frame is pulled apart which shows a division horizontal at the half way point that now shows the solid metal card having penetrated the solid object! Many years ago an American version made use of a clear plastic tube that a silk could be pushed through as well to use for the penetration. Includes instructions for the early American version which comprise of 2 pages. Condition minor paint absence overall but certainly a well made and durable piece since metal is used throughout. This is one I have never seen before. | |
