| This is the best version to use because instead of a black cloth you use a newspaper. Walk out carrying a folded newspaper. Unfold the paper and start to read. As you are holding the paper with your hands, weird things start to happen. Your glasses changed to normal sunglasses. Then they change to Groucho glasses. Then they disappear completely! The microphone stand in front of you starts to move around, then actually rises off the floor. The bell rings behind the newspaper, on its own. A handkerchief floats by the top of the paper. All kinds of strange things happen while you are holding the paper with both hands! The mechanism that allows you to use a newspaper rather than a cloth is very clever and extremely well made of metal. Newspaper will need replacing as it is from 1991. You will want to do this anyway with your local paper. Sold for $37.50 when new in 1991. Includes illustrated instructions. Condition fine. | |
