| Two tall glasses, each on a thin wooden coaster, and two metal cylinders are displayed. Each glass is full of water and both cylinders are shown empty. The glass on the left is covered with an empty cylinder and a large live goldfish appears in it! Then the fish is magically passed from glass to glass as many times as desired. Fish then appear in both glasses, and finally disappear completely. The covers are again shown empty. The trick is self contained, it's in the outfit itself. The fish are always in water. No mirrors or the like used. Really baffling beyond words. Each coaster with base stand stands 6 3/4" high made of wood, metal and glass. This is a very difficult Grant item to find and one to be desired for the Collector of Grant Magic. This came from a European Collection and when you look into the base units you will see tiny light bulbs. Both bases have wires coming out to a push button switch we are guessing that the previous owner had intentions of illuminating the fish within. This has not been tested and auctioned as is. Includes instructions. Condition very fine. | |
