| A style of which you are not likely to have ever seen before and this one with a die of 2 13/16" in size. What you have is a solid die of wood along with a five sided metal shell with hinged flap that lays down with open door to show vanish. The die box has a sounding mechanism and made of wood with brass hardware and brass ball feet and measures 7 3/4" wide x 6" high x 4 3/8" deep. Also included is a Chimney Vanish along with a five sided metal shell die with a hinged flap for showing vanish in chimney. One of five side shells also has finger hole to hold solid die within until the proper moment to drop out into whatever receptacle is used. Chimney is 7 1/8" high and is 3 3/4" in size. This is a very old unit and has appropriate age wear but still lots of character for the Collector of never seen before items. | |
