| A very clever Micro Magic effect. The routine for this is unknown and it appears to be custom made. What you have is a cover that just fits over a straight sided fluted and etched glass. Along with this you receive two 2 1/2 Guilder coins from 1969 along with a 2 1/2 Guilder shell coin. What happens is any coin of the three placed within the glass and cover placed on, when removing the cover the coin has vanished and action is silent. One thought is to place coin with shell on in the glass and cover it and remove cover and coin has turned over. Works similar in ways to a chop cup only placing the cover on and lifting does the trick. Another idea is coins placed within and covered, then cover removed and one coin vanishes. Cover is 3 1/8" high and glass is 2 3/4" high with a mouth diameter of 1 5/8". Condition First Rate. | |
