Mr. Himber left this world far too soon in 1966 at the age of 59 and those alive today that knew him will tell you of the great loss to the magic community of one of the most colorful characters and clever minds in magic.

The Himber ad stated "A heckler was bothering us so we called him up on the stage and asked him to help us with an experiment. We showed him a padlock and a key. We showed him the lock opened and then we told him that in as much as we only have one key we will put the key on the lock for safe keeping. Then we handed him the lock and asked him to open it. He thought we were crazy. He protested How can you open the lock if the key is locked on the lock? We then pulled the key off the hasp to show him it could be done and then told him we don't want to lose the key so we'll put it back on the lock without opening the hasp! He tried to pull the key off but couldn't and the audience was howling at this time. He couldn't get the key off so we pulled it off again and again we placed it on the lock without opening the hasp. The heckler was furious! But the audience was laughing riotously and then came the startling climax where even the heckler had to laugh at his own expense.
