A wooden chest measuring 14 inches wide x 5 3/4 inches high x 10 inches deep is seen resting upon a small draped stand.

 The lid is lifted and placed in angle cut slots holding it open for the placement of a rabbit or doves. The audience cannot help but notice the placement is not as smooth as it should be watching the magician closely.

After replacing the lid the magician pauses for a moment and then begins to disassemble the chest piece by piece showing the apparent vanish of the animal. Remaining is the draped stand and the magician notices grumblings from the audience.

An answer to the audience response the magician pulls the drape away that is held by snap fasteners as if to prove nothing fishy going on. Two pieces remain of the stand and the magician handles them carefully and the audience gets a glimpse of something white peeking up from behind one of the pieces.

Just when the magician appears to have been caught he takes the pieces apart and lays them flat upon the table showing the vanish is as he intended!
