Absolutely the most beautiful rendition of the classic Massey effect. The magician weaves a story around a village of 800 years ago and the method used to measure time being a candle dividing the time into work then play then sleep.

Three doors in the front of the cabinet may be opened showing the candle within and then closed. Two beautiful daggers are inserted near the center of the cabinet apparently dissecting the candle into three equal parts.

When the three doors are opened along with a single door at the rear of the cabinet it is seen that the top and bottom sections of the candle remain however the center section has completely vanished and the story explains for the vanish of the center section which represented the time for play. The finish of the effect has the candle restored with all made right.
