This Rising Cards is a clockwork mechanism having two wheels and a pressure blade to assist in bringing the cards up one at a time with a several second delay in which the wheels stop that is built in to the mechanism. Handmade perfection including the key for winding the clockwork and trademark stamped. Condition very fine. This item was acquired from Jon Martin and owned by Richard Himber. The Jon Martin items are the absolute finest and few are fortunate to claim ownership of the genuine article and those that do will tell you nothing else compares. Jon Martin passed away in 1968 at the age of 87 years and there is no evidence of his equal today. | |
