This handsome wood chest is handed to a spectator with the request the dial pointer be set at any number desired on the clock and the lid closed and hasp laid down.

The magician takes the chest and shows that in no way a peek may be made at the clock as it is tightly closed and he would have to have the x-ray vision of Superman.

Setting the chest aside the magician does indeed correctly name the number at which the pointer was set!

This is a mechanical delight and works perfectly. Condition very fine.
