Of a style not seen by many this utilizes a removable container of metal worked so that a press upon a lever will drop a hinged flap allowing for the card under tension of stretched elastic to allow the card to fly to the tip of the sword. We generally come to think that swords for impaling a selected card come with a metal tip to which is affixed to the end of the elastic however with this sword I do not believe that is the case as the very end of the sword is so small that the tip would have to be micro in size. If such tip did once accompany this sword it does not now. It is rare to find a magic sword of this type and even more so to find one with the removable metal release box for the card. Condition very fine. | |
