The catalog description stated this was a built to special order only and this is a rare Thayer item. All parts are shown empty and a tabouret is made of the chimney and base. An empty pot (not included) is set upon the stand and covered with the cone. When lifted a beautiful growth of live flowers is displayed! If desired an artificial arrangement of flowers may be used (not included).

This is a rare Thayer item and is as usable today and an effective production with great use of black art. Along the life of this effect the cone has been painted over with the addition of chrome tape at the top and bottom of which the top strip has come away. Condition very good.
