Description

Here you see the first card picking duck from the 1930's as produced by Laurie Ireland. Measuring 22 1/2" in length at the base and standing 12" high this automaton duck will reach into its feedbox and pick out cards selected by spectators. A hole at the back of Otto is for insertion of a plume feather if desired.

Includes 3 pages of instructions which have patter for Otto written by Mr. Jimmy Trimble. Some wear to the platform base otherwise very fine condition. A very scarce piece.
