A brass bowl is shown empty and filled with confetti from a casket designed in Asian style. Covering the bowl for a moment with a foulard (not included) the foulard is pulled quickly away and now the bowl previously filled with confetti is now a bowl full of water! The clever way Okito made use of the confetti casket to bring about this unbelievable transformation is so much a part of why people collect Okito items aside from their beauty. One bowl has several metal spinning stress fractures and the other only has one. This is not uncommon with this piece. A 3/4" scuff mark on the lid otherwise all in fine condition.
