Simply put an empty glass is passed through a cylinder decorated with Asian design to show there are no obstructions. The cylinder is taken in the Magician's one hand and with the other takes a pitcher of water and pours into the cylinder which leaves the audience quite puzzled as it is certainly not obeying gravity and passing through out the bottom onto the floor.

Setting the pitcher aside the Magician drapes a silk (not supplied) over the top of the cylinder and with a wand (not supplied) pushes the center of the silk down through the cylinder where it is seen to completely fill the bottom opening upon its removal from the bottom of the cylinder! With this the audience will gasp. Laying the silk aside the Magician retrieves the glass and pushes it up through the bottom of the cylinder and out it comes from the top filled with the water!
