Neither set comes with the compass for reading of the blocks. The first is of an early set in a painted wood box made with interlace joints having four blocks with facings removed exposing the channels were the polarized metal bars once were but now absent. The second set in natural wood case from Harries in Sweden having the four number blocks but no compass for the read. | |
