Self published being Volume 1 of The Magic Art Series cloth bound with gilt stamping numbers 234 pages including 2 ads. Illustrated with drawings and photographs. In addition to the preface by Mr. Holmes is a section by Henry Ridgley Evans entitled "The History and Psychology of Natural Magic". The chapters include: *Some Accessories and Artifices of General Utility *Tricks Original and Otherwise and *Working Up an Act. Of course many vintage effects and early apparatus are worked within this volume. 1/8" abrasion spot on backstrip. Overall condition very good. | |
