Description

Showing a platform of wood it is explained that this is electronic as the magician points to the circuit board diagram. Two tubes one that is plain and one that is full of holes are shown empty along with a small wood doll. The doll is placed upon the platform and covered first with the tube with holes and then the plain tube followed by a turned wood cap that fits perfectly within the top of the tube with holes.

The spectator is told that they are the batteries for this device and they are asked to put one finger of each hand on the two metal contacts. When this is done the magician makes a shock noise which causes some humor among onlookers. After the laughing subsides the cap is removed along with the outer tube and then the tube with holes is tipped over and all realize that the doll has indeed dematerialized! Both tubes may be examined!

This is a charming micro magic item from 1984 with instructions written by Howard Schwarzman. Some wear to the plain tube otherwise in very fine condition.
