One of the reasons that there exists a segment of collectors for Loyd made items is that Loyd Enochs had clever methods for bringing about magical effects and his apparatus was usually much better in design and manufacture for the working magician.

The effect is of a marked selected card making its appearance within a wallet that has been rubber banded and once the rubber bands are removed from the wallet inside will be found 2 pyraline plates banded in every direction with the selected signed card sandwiched inside!

The opening line of the instructions state "Embodied in these directions is a master method of working this effect and with this advanced design of gimmick and plates."  Includes 2 pages of instructions and so proud was Loyd of this that it is trademarked on the specially designed gimmick.
