Having one of these early printing blocks in hand you can really appreciate the quality of work that went into the precise detail in copper that is then laid over zinc which in turn is then fastened to a multi layer wood block. The printing block is 6" long x 3/4" high with overall thickness of nearly 1". A scarce item possibly unique in very fine condition. | |
