After showing an open houlette made of wood that is suspended from two ribbons the magician has three cards selected and then shuffles back in the deck. The deck is placed in the houlette and one ribbon end is held by a spectator and the other by the magician.

As the houlette sways back and forth the three cards rise out of the deck either as slow or fast as the magician desires as they are under his control at all times. The deck is then dumped out of the houlette and may be passed for examination along with the houlette! As the ad states "It is most beautiful and appealing to see the cards rise gracefully out of the deck as it swings back and forth."

If wishing to use the Hathaway method for the selection of cards you will need to add a double back card. Includes instructions. Condition very fine.
