This effect makes use of this rather interesting pencil of years ago. A prediction of a playing card is written on a paper that is crushed into a ball and placed aside. The deck is shuffled and cut and cards selected by spectator which is returned and then again shuffled and placed on the table.

Another spectator is asked if he can possibly know the name of the card written on the paper. The answer is no but the magician says that the spectator has the ability to look ahead into the future and that he will try and help him to obtain an impression. The crumpled prediction is impaled on the point of the pencil and the spectator gazes at it and says that he has thought of the name on the prediction.

The crumpled ball is given to another spectator who removes it from the pencil. The first spectator is asked what he thinks the name is and the name of the card is given. The spectator then opens the prediction and reads it out loud and it proves to be the same!

The person who selected the card is then asked to give the name of the card and again it is the same! For the finale the pack of cards is ribbon spread face up on the table and one face down cards is seen. It is turned over and it is the chosen card!

Includes 2 pages of instructions with routine and the pencil which through the years has had the bottom half with the point warp a little which actually does not prevent any function that it may have in the routine. Condition good.
