| Showing a parasol and opening it giving it a twirl the magician closes it and rolls it within a tube of paper. Handing the parasol off to his assistant he then takes a ladies handbag and from it removes several silks. Showing the silks he replaces them in the handbag and makes a magical pass. Opening the handbag the magician withdraws the cover of the parasol! Setting this aside he goes to the assistant holding the rolled up parasol and removes the parasol from its covering. Opening the parasol and giving it a twirl it is seen that the parasol is nothing but the ribs minus the cover but tied to each rib end is a silk shown moments before that had been placed in the handbag! A reversal of the process is done putting everything back the way it should be. Keep in mind the handle of the parasol is in view the entire time. The complete effect with parasol, 12 silks and handbag and parasol cover. Very well made to withstand a busy performance schedule. This is one effect that still mystifies and entertains today. Includes 2 pages of instructions and in very fine condition. | |
