If you are familiar with P&L Glass Through Hat you will have seen the illustration of this with the ball design at the center of the post. This is one of the earliest models and bears the large P&L Hallmark on the bottom.

Felt has been added to the bottom but has been cut away to highlight the P&L stamp. The glass with disk and handkerchief not supplied and likely this will go to a collection of someone seeking this elusive piece made of brass. Condition very good.
