| This is the Anverdi made effect of a box of black plex having a miniature arm and hand and a simple lid giving access to a section in which playing cards are kept. The effect is of the cards being shuffled with one selected and returned to the deck with a shuffle. The lid is opened and the little arm placed in a vertical position. The spectator is handed the deck and asked to deal the cards one at a time into the open box and as the cards are dealt the hand suddenly slaps the lid closed preventing any more cards from being dealt. When the spectator is asked to turn over the next top card to be dealt it is found that this is the selected card! A truly wonderful effect. The cloth tape hinge has shrunk slightly and could be reapplied to aid in the lid working better than it currently does. This includes a shim Bicycle Poker card in blue. The function of the box itself is as it should be and a very eerie effect upon the spectators. The lid of box is engraved with a card design. Condition First Rate. | |
