| A silk is marked with fountain pen that has been dipped into a bottle of ink. With afterthought the magician states that a mark is not large enough to be seen and decides to poke the entire silk into the ink bottle as the spectator looks on in utter amazement. The magician removes a potato from a paper sack and starts to peel the potato with the comment that there is a dark spot in the potato. Breaking through this spot a silk is withdrawn and it is shown that it is the very same silk seen just moments ago. If desired the ink bottle may be shown to be empty. The foregoing is an abbreviated version of what has become a classic effect of many years ago and the apparatus is well made having never been used in like new condition. Silk not supplied.
