| A frame of clear plex having a $50 dollar bill (not supplied) or other denomination is shown imprisoned within. Next a solid brass master padlock and 5 keys are shown and one of the keys is threaded onto a ribbon. The ribbon key is shown to be the one that opens the padlock and the ribbon is removed. The 5 keys are mixed and then dropped into a glass or other receptacle (not supplied) and given to the spectators with the request of a further mixing. The lock is placed on the frame and snapped shut trapping the bill inside and the only way to retrieve the bill is to unlock the padlock. The spectators have free choice of placing one key aside for the magician while retaining the others. The magician states that the one holding the key that works the lock is awarded the contents of the frame and keys may be traded with each other or for the one that was set aside for the magician. After all has failed the key left for the magician is tried by a spectator in the lock and it works! This is a fine performance piece that will serve you well and is easy to do.
