Description
From Silray in Scotland and made in plex of black and red. Stands 17 3/4” high and made with brass fittings which will hold three cards upon each point. The magician begins by having a deck of cards shuffled by a spectator and then placed in the matching style houlette. Nine cards are counted off the deck and the spectator freely selects one of them. This card is shuffled back in to the reamining eight until completely lost. These cards are clipped in groups of three at each point of the star and the star is spun and the spectator stops it at any point and that group is removed. This is repeated and a second group removed. The remaining group is now separated and one card is placed on each point of the star. Two cards are eliminated as before leaving just one card. Low and behold this last card is the selectard card! This is a rarely seen item and includes 5 pages of instructions with patter included. Circa 1950. Condition the houlette has been broken and glue repaired not affecting performance of effect. The star spins freely and in First Rate condition. Includes cards.
