| The magician exhibits a small clock in a box. Any spectator is asked to think of any time of day but not tell anyone. The magician sets the clock at an hour, places the clock in the box and closes the lid. Only now is the spectator asked to name the time he is thinking of. When the cover is removed from the box the audience sees that the magician has exactly predicted the hour.
