| Nut and Bolt or The Bolt Of Lightning. Originated by Finn Hauger and improved by Anverdi. This is one of the first that Anverdi ever made and such a beautiful amount of work went into this as it was lathe turned. The bolt measures 7 3/4" long with the nut which is 1 3/4" in size. The performer shows an empty box and screws a nut on the bolt making sure that the audience sees that the nut is securely placed on the bolt. He drops both into the box and gives the box and its contents to a member of the audience to hold. The performer again reminds the audience what has taken place; a nut has been screwed on to the bolt and the bolt placed in a box which is now being held by a spectator. The performer has not touched the box since handing it to the spectator. The spectator is instructed to open the box. The nut has been unscrewed from the bolt and the two lie separate on the bottom of the box, in spite of the fact that the box has never been out of the spectator's hands. Includes illustrated instructions. Condition very fine. | |
