Description
A beautifully finished vase is shown to the spectators and its mechanism thoroughly explained. A coin is placed in the vase, the movable button at the top pressed down, and when the vase is opened the coin has vanished. Now the bottom of the vase is pressed upwards and the coin immediately reappears. Vase and coin are now given to the spectators, who, however, fail to cause the coin to vanish, although repeating exactly all moves. A very clever piece of mechanism impossible to detect. Stands 5 1/4" high, beautifully turned of wood trimmed in black lacquer. Coin not supplied and made for a coin of 24 mm in size. Condition very fine.
