Yes it is the popular Color Vision effect but with cube size of 1 13/16" and many superior advancements. The magician shows an opaque black box with lid and a cube with a different color on each of its 6 sides. The spectator is directed to place the cube within the box closing the lid and to place it upon the table.

The magician brings out another cube duplicate to the one placed within the box showing it to the spectator while saying that he is getting a feel as to which color the spectator reacts to most. After doing this the magician announces the top color in the box and the lid is removed showing that the named color is correct!

It gets better as the magician asks the spectator to once more place the cube within the box of course with the magician turned away and not being able to see the placement. With the visible cube on the table the magician takes the hidden cube within the box and turns it over so it is resting upon its lid. Guarantee of no peeks as if desired the box may be banded before this procedure.

The magician takes the visible cube and moves it about setting a specific position of the cube. The magician asks that the box be lifted away which leaves the hidden cube resting upon the lid and it is seen that both cubes are in the exact same orientation truly an effect of mental powers!
