This book matches somewhat in format to the Goldston Exclusive Magical Secrets Locked Book Series and has been dubbed the 4th unlocked locked book. It is best summed up by the note given prior to the introduction by Horace Goldin which states "Great Magicians' Tricks is divided into 2 complete parts, Magicians of the Past and Modern Magicians. The secrets of each particular magician follow immediately upon my own character impression of that magician. All the tricks and illusions included under the first section of the book were acquired by me during the lifetimes of the deceased magicians whilst those of the Modern Magicians were specially contributed for this volume."
