This is an early and beautifully wood turned of Maple vase for what is a wonderful transposition and vanish and appearance. This one using a 1 3/4" ball in a dark green almost having the look of an ornament. Please do not confuse this with latter day versions as this is of high quality craftsmanship.

The effect is of the vase being opened showing a silk inside. The silk is placed into the hand and changes into a ball. The ball is placed in the pocket and the vase is closed. The magician now removes the ball invisibly from his pocket and makes a throwing motion toward the vase and opening the vase it is seen to arrive!

The vase is closed and the magician makes a slight downward movement and it is seen that the ball penetrates out the bottom and it is caught in the free hand. This ball is placed in the pocket and the vase is opened to show that it has penetrated the vase as it is seen to be empty.

Once more the magician makes a throwing motion toward the vase and opening to show it is back once more. The vase is closed and the magician gives a tap as if to make the ball penetrate and nothing happens. The vase is opened and the silk has reappeared inside the vase!
