Description
It is crude but it works. The back panel of box has a 3/16 inch piece of wood missing on the top edge on the grain of wood and a few nail heads are out a little. Dimensions of box are 10 3/16 inches long x 6 inches wide x 3 7/8 inches high not including the wood knob. This was found with a huge stack of stage money that will travel with it to its final destination. If you look closely through the dark finish of the wood you can see the imprint of Royal Corona and on the bottom of the drawer Jose Rio Perfectos. This could likely be from the depression era.
