This 1 1/4 inch diameter reel has a brake tab hook which engages the internal drum allowing the monofilament to be withdrawn to the desired length up to 43 inches and locked in place. A simple tug on the key fastener end will disengage the lock allowing spring tension to quickly draw in the monofilament. The external arm has had solder added. The housing of the reel is made of brass. Overall rough in appearance but works fine. | |
