The magician shows a small platform which has a black velvet drape with gold fringe and receivers to hold two solid panels in a vertical position. The magician explains that he is going to perform a trick exactly as it would appear to anyone backstage. Showing a jumbo Queen of Diamonds playing card he turns his back toward the audience and drops the card between the two panels and it is seen to go through an opening in the tray and comes to rest in loops hanging beneath. The magician offers to repeat the effect so the audience may see it from the front side only this time the panels are removed and shown both sides and the drape is pulled away showing the card has really vanished! Includes 2 pages on instructions and the jumbo Bicycle Queen of Diamonds. Condition very fine. | |
