Howard Thurston 1869-1936 Lithograph without show date banner measures 41 inches high x 27 inches wide and one of the last used by Howard Thurston prior to his death. Rarely do you see one with the Show Date and this one for a performance at the RKO Keith's Palace in Youngstown. Minor breaks in border edge only and this in remarkable condition with brilliant color as this has been rolled and hidden away for decades. Photos do not do justice to this image as it was not shot under ideal conditions. See 100 Years of Magic Posters by Reynolds. If wishing to have this mounted the date strip may be removed with little effort and the cost should be in the neighborhood of $150. This is an absolute find and one you are not likely to see again in this condition. | |
