An early effect from Abbott's considered to be a sure fire comedy effect. A silk is placed inside a chrome tube and given to a boy to hold. A small box shown empty with lid replaced and given to another boy to hold. The silk will be caused to pass from the tube into the box. The boy holding the tube is asked to open it and out jumps a spring snake at the same time bingo cap devices go off!
The boy with the box is laughing now at all of this and he is asked to open the box he has been holding and several more bingo devices go off followed by a cascade of spring paper flowers! Both boys are asked to pick up the flowers and now the audience roars as hanging on the back of one boys back is the silk and on the other boys back is a sign that says "Nuts".
Long unavailable this one circa late 1940's. Includes instructions. Condition very good.
