A Scarce Clint Reidel effect that is unlike any other version of a vanished coin found elsewhere type effects. A chest with Aztec designs measuring 6" x 6" x 6 1/2" high is given to a spectator to hold at the very beginning of the effect and it is seen to be filled with puffed rice.

A half dollar which may be borrowed and marked by the lender is covered with a hanky and held by the lender. The chest is taken and shown all sides and given back to the spectator to hold and the magician waves his wand causing the half dollar the lender is holding turning into a real Mexican 20 centavo coin.

The spectator holding the chest is asked to remove the lid of the chest and an end of the ribbon is seen sticking up out of the rice. The spectator is told to pull up on the ribbon and at the other end of the ribbon is a metal clip with the same marked half dollar held tightly in its grip!

The rice may be poured out of the chest and the chest shown all around. This includes *coins *a colorful scarf and *ribbon with clip attached all you supply is the puffed rice or if desired you may also use beans.

Let me remind you that the spectator holds the chest before and during the effect and this may not be done with any other version of this effect. Mr. Riedel passed away in 1995 and this scarce item predates his passing by many years. Includes instructions. Condition beautiful.
