Description

Standing 20 1/4" high made of wood this Freddie has a special feature of his tie being made of a separate piece in which to hold the knotted end of an inflated balloon and when tie is moved down the duplicate head is released at the same time breaking the balloon. This includes the handkerchief for the vanish for Freddie's head and routine presentation for the effect. A safety feature is also built in to prevent a premature appearance of Freddie's head while affixing the balloon in place. The story is that Freddie was so forgetful that one time he even lost his head. His mother tried to help by tying a balloon to his shoulders so that he would not be embarrassed to walk around without his head. This was not help as his friends began to call him balloon head so a magician was asked to help. The magician passes his wand over the handkerchief and his head is caused to vanish. He then causes the balloon to burst and Freddie's head makes an appearance back in place! Instructions also given with several ideas for use with the Devil's Handkerchief. Condition very fine.

Payment is due upon auction close unless other arrangements have been made prior to bidding.
