Built around the effect named Bloxo this cabinet contains four blocks of different colors that when placed vertically within and doors closed the blocks are in view through round openings in the doors. Both the front and rear side of the cabinet match with exception of the doors and the doors on one side are in Gold and on the other side are in Silver.

This beautiful piece stands 12" high and base is 10" wide x 5 3/8" deep. Built of wood and well painted design of a Magician wielding a wand and a handle between the two Magician figures for effectively holding the cabinet. The doors front and rear are hinged to the cabinet and closure is by hook and peg fasteners.

On the sides of the cabinet you will find two horizontal slots that would accommodate two long narrow blades (not supplied) which serve the purpose of holding all four blocks securely in place as the blocks also have matching slot openings. This entire unit is contained within a wood carry case.

The effect is of the free selection of two of the color blocks followed by the placement of all four blocks within the cabinet and then securely held in place with the two long blades. With blades in full view extending beyond the side walls of cabinet the Magician is able to open the rear doors and remove the two selected blocks and after setting these aside the front doors are opened showing the two remaining blocks still firmly held in place by the blades.

Circa 1930's and the only one this Collector has ever seen. Condition very fine and desirable.
