This is the first version by U.F. Grant. An egg is broken into a canister and a card clamped over the top of the can which is then inverted and placed on top of a boy's head. The magician forgets what to do next and remembers the instructions were on the card so the card is pulled out from under the can so the instructions may be read. The magician reads aloud and finds it states "Do not remove this card!".
At this point the magician may hand the boy an egg beater (not supplied) and tell him to operate the beater as the can is slid off his head and to beat the egg as it falls out and down in front of the beater. You can imagine the look on the boy's face at this point. The can is lifted and nothing drops out! The can is placed on the magician's hand and when lifted a tumbler overflowing with candy or other is revealed!
A winner of an effect and an early U.F. Grant item. Minor paint absence at rear of can otherwise very fine. Includes instructions.
