Back in the late 1930's early 1940's a gentleman by the name of Mark Jacobs came up with this to be what he called Cups and Balls however it is not as one would think. It uses walnuts and a rubber walnut (not included). What you have is a special glass and a very early 12 ounce beer can that was local to the area.
The effect is of a glass placed mouth down on the table and covered with a can and then one by one the magician vanishes the walnuts from his hands and causes them to appear beneath the covered glass.
You will also need a cork and a sewing needle as per the instructions. The walnut trick may be found in the Vernon Chronicles if you are interested. The beer can has some rust. Includes 2 pages of instructions and should be of real interest to the close up guys that wish to fool someone.
