Description
To have a signature of Professor Hoffmann is a delight of any Hoffmann Collector and this one is a fine example to have. In the words of Hoffmann, “The possessor of this little book thereby acquires a curious power of divination. A person, having mentally selected a card, has only to state on which one or more of the 6 pages such card appears, when the performer, without seeing the book, will instantly tell the name of his card. The feat may be repeated at pleasure.” Following this intro you will find the actual signature of Louis Hoffmann. Included with the Wizard’s Pocket Book are the original instructions for the use of the book encompassing 7 pages. Within the book you will find layouts of cards printed in two colors and cover is of cloth stiff boards. What a delight to be able to hold such an item as once held and signed by a gentleman whose written contributions for the world of magic influenced so many. Condition light soil to cover and darkening on spot where label was once attached. Previous owner’s signature otherwise very fine and very scarce.

Please be advised there are No Buyer's Premiums. A bid placed in the last 5 minutes of an auction will extend the closing time 10 additional minutes.

3. Once auction has ended winning bidder will receive an email invoice with amount due including shipping/handling/insurance and 6.75% tax if residing in the State of Ohio. International bidders will receive an email with shipping options/charges. We accept payments via Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Paypal, Money Order and Check. Payment is due upon auction close unless other arrangements have been made prior to bidding.

6. Please note: This is a standard auction format with no proxy bidding which means the bid you enter is what will automatically show and be taken as what you are going to pay if you win the item. The system also allows for you to increase your bid amount if this is a bidding method you wish to use. This process is also helpful in reaching a reserve amount. Shipping/Insurance charges are in addition to winning bid amounts. What you will not have at the end of the auction is the addition of Buyer's Premiums that can range from 15% to 25% and more.
