From Great Britain comes this charming close up wonder that is sure to please as it creates a sense of animation upon the table among the spectators.

After a card is selected and returned to the deck with a shuffle the magician will cause the selected card to come to the top of the deck. Saying so he gives the deck a shake and turns over the top card but it is found not to be the selected one.

Certainly in trouble the magician takes the top card and places it face down upon a pedestal saying he will need the help of a little friend he carries with him just in case this should happen. He brings from his pocket a small head figure but one with no body. His little friend can indeed help him and he drops the head onto the face down card upon the pedestal and mind you this is done from a few inches above. Suddenly the card and head are seen to both jump up from the pedestal with people all around wondering what has just transpired.

The magician states his little friend has yet to fail when called upon and the magician reaches for the pedestal lifting it up and asking at the same time that the selected card be named and as it is the spectators now see the head and body with the card sandwiched between and it is indeed the correct selected one!
