An attractive parlor club or stage effect measuring 13 1/2 inches wide x 11 1/4 inches high x 2 3/8 inches deep. The temple has two doors which open showing the empty interior.
The pagoda tube measures 6 inches wide x 7 inches high x 1 1/4 inch deep is shown to have a large gold coin 5 inches in diameter that is placed behind one of the doors and the door closed. Gently tilting the temple one way or another the doors are opened one at a time showing the coin has vanished!
All the while this is happening the sound of the coin rolling back and forth is heard and at one point the performer may have a door partially open giving a view to the coin rolling to the other side but acting as though the audience is none the wiser. The coin finally vanishes completely with both doors being opened and moving over to the pagoda tube it is found that the coin has appeared back in safe keeping within the tube!
Made of wood and nicely finished. Minor areas of wear overall condition very good and a well made piece.
