Mr. Miller has been out or production for over a year and it is unlikely that items will be made again. Don't miss this opportunity to acquire some of his handmade items.
A tube made of walnut with basswood trim measuring 4 5/8" tall x 1 1/4" wide x 3/8" thick is shown to allow a penny placed in one end to slide the entire length and exit the other end. At the center of the tube is a horizontal slot made to accommodate an Asian coin inserted with the center of the Asian coin perfectly blocking the path the penny traveled moments before.
The penny is taken in hand and dropped into the top opening. The expected click of the penny hitting the surface of the obstructing Asian coin is heard, the surprise comes when the penny is seen to appear at the bottom of the tube! I believe this may also be worked with a Canadian Nickel.
