Two nested boxes are seen and the inner box is removed and set to one side. The outer box is shown to have an opening at the front and placed aside. The inner box is filled with rice and placed within the outer larger box.

Both boxes are covered with a cloth and the inner box is lifted up out of the larger box and the audience has a view into the larger box showing its empty condition. The box with rice is placed on top of a wooden post balancing it upon the top.

With both hands holding the post steady the magician makes an upward swing and the cloth flutters down showing the box and rice have vanished! When it came to cabinet type construction Arturo was one of the finest and this marvelous mechanical apparatus is testimony to his great skill.
